Do you struggle with boundaries?

Dear Reader,

How many times have you felt guilty the moment you said no — even when saying yes was costing you your peace?

How many times have you sensed something wasn't right... only to let someone else talk you out of what you already knew?

Known exactly what you needed to say, and frozen the moment it was time to actually say it?

Held a boundary with someone you love, felt their disappointment, and immediately wanted to take it all back?

If this feels familiar, I hope you'll hear this first:

Your intuition isn't broken.

It's been waiting for you to trust it.

Many of us were never taught how to trust our own knowing.

We only learned how to override it — in the name of love, of compassion, of helping others, of keeping the peace.

But eventually...

that override doesn't just cost you a boundary.

It costs you your connection to yourself — the quiet, steady voice that already knew.

I know this journey personally.

There was a time when my genuine desire to help someone led me to override what I already sensed — and one uncomfortable question finally helped me see what was happening underneath.

I share that story in this week's Reflection episode, including the question that made me confront the difference between helping someone and abandoning myself to help them.

If you've been experiencing...

  • guilt the instant you say no, even when yes is depleting you
  • a habit of letting others talk you out of what you already sensed
  • freezing when it's time to actually say the boundary out loud
  • taking responsibility for feelings and outcomes that were never yours to carry
  • knowing something doesn't feel right but needing someone else to validate it before you trust yourself
  • fear that a boundary makes you selfish, difficult, or somehow less loving

...this week's podcast journey was created for you.

ON THE TRUE TO YOURSELF PODCAST 🎙️: your soulful companion for the journey home to yourself

Every week on True to Yourself, we're walking together through a nine-week journey across the nine chakras of the Divine Feminine Hero's Journey — moving from survival to self-realization through reflection, ritual, and guided healing practices you can return to again and again.

This week's journey explores the Third Eye Chakra — the center of intuition, discernment, and inner knowing.

My hope isn't simply that you'll understand your Third Eye Chakra.

It's that you'll trust what you already know.

EPISODE 058 ~ THIRD EYE CHAKRA REFLECTION

In this episode, I open our Third Eye Chakra series inspired by Katyayani, the sword-and-lotus goddess who teaches us that a loving heart and clear boundaries are not opposites.

We explore five signs your boundaries may need attention, the "savior pattern" that can quietly override your own knowing, and a gentle practice for beginning to trust what you've been sensing all along.

I'll also share a personal story about a time when my genuine desire to help someone made it difficult for me to listen to what I already knew — and the question that finally helped me see the difference between compassion and self-abandonment.

Listen if you've ever wondered whether having a boundary makes you less loving.

EPISODE 059 ~ THIRD EYE CHAKRA RITUAL

Do you know exactly what a boundary should sound like, but freeze the moment you have to say it out loud?

In this episode, I walk you through a four-step framework rooted in ancient Vedic wisdom for recognizing, communicating, and holding a boundary — without turning the conversation into a confrontation or ultimatum.

We'll explore the middle path between tolerating what isn't working and cutting someone off completely, the difference between compassion and over-responsibility, and what to do when someone doesn't respect a boundary you've already named.

Because boundaries aren't about controlling what another person does.

They're about becoming clear about what you will do when something isn't right for you.

Listen if you're ready to move from over-responsibility toward discernment.

EPISODE 060 ~ THIRD EYE CHAKRA RELEASE

Do you already know exactly which boundary you need to hold, but guilt keeps pulling you back the moment you try?

Sometimes knowing the boundary isn't the hardest part.

Holding it is.

In this final episode of our Third Eye Chakra journey, guided by Katyayani's sword, I lead you through a full visualization to release the guilt, fear, and obligation that can make even a boundary you've already named so difficult to hold.

And there's an important distinction at the heart of this practice:

We're not cutting the cord of love. We're cutting the cord between love and self-abandonment.

Because releasing someone's grip on you doesn't require releasing your love for them.

And protecting your peace doesn't require closing your heart.

Listen if you're ready to release the guilt that keeps pulling you back the boundaries you know you need.

What's Coming Next

This week, we continued our journey through the Third Eye Chakra — learning to recognize where we override our own knowing, communicate clearer boundaries, and release the guilt that makes those boundaries so difficult to hold.

Next week, we reach the Crown Chakra — and the culmination of our nine-week journey home to ourselves.

After moving through safety, feeling, power, love, truth, and intuition, we'll explore what happens when we stop searching outside ourselves for what has been within us all along.

The Crown Chakra invites us into connection, oneness, surrender — and the remembrance of who we were before the world told us who we needed to be.

As always, we'll complete the journey through our three steps:

Reflect. Ritual. Release.

I'd love for you to subscribe on your favorite podcast app so you don't miss the final chapter of this journey.

And if someone came to mind while reading this — someone who already knows the boundary they need to hold but can't quite bring themselves to hold it — I would be deeply grateful if you shared this week's series with them.

Some of the most meaningful healing begins when one person quietly says,

"I thought of you."

Thank you for trusting me with your attention, your heart, and a small part of your own journey home.

With all my love 🌿,

Ananta

P.S. These weekly episodes are part of the Divine Feminine Hero's Journey—a nine-chakra path inspired by The Way of the Goddess that gently guides you from fear to freedom, self-abandonment to self-love, and survival to sovereignty.
