Dear Reader,
Do you feel safe to be fully yourself?
This week on True to Yourself, I had such a joyful conversation with Karen “ZuZu” Ziemer Armes, a holistic health educator, author, and speaker whose work grew out of her own remarkable journey with her health.

ZuZu shared openly about navigating significant health challenges in her own life, including epilepsy, scoliosis, and arthritis — experiences that ultimately led her to begin questioning, learning, and taking a much more active role in caring for her body.
She went on to spend decades helping others do the same. She has now taught more than 2,500 seminars, written four books, and co-founded Holistic Health Educators, a global wellness education community serving more than 45,000 people.
But what stayed with me most from our conversation wasn't everything ZuZu has accomplished.
It was something she said about the body:
“This is your temple. This is your place to reside.”
We talked about how easy it can be to let a diagnosis, a struggle, or something we've been through become part of how we define ourselves.
And how much of our lives we can spend looking outside ourselves for answers, comparing ourselves to other people, or believing that something happening to us says something about who we are.
At another point, ZuZu said:
“There’s so much inside that you haven’t discovered about you yet.”
I love that.
Because this week also marks the beginning of a brand-new cycle of the Divine Feminine Hero's Journey through the nine chakras on the True to Yourself Podcast.
And we're beginning at the roots. Let's come home to our bodies, and ultimately, to ourselves.
