Dear Reader,
Have you ever wanted something — or someone — even when a deeper part of you knew it wasn’t good for you? |

I have.
And one of the most powerful things I’ve learned is that we rarely free ourselves from a desire simply by trying harder not to want it.
We become free when we discover something we want more.
Genuine love instead of temporary attention.
Inner peace instead of intensity.
Purpose instead of distraction.
A relationship with ourselves that feels so fulfilling that we no longer need to chase what pulls us away from who we truly are.
This is the ancient spiritual teaching of Brahmacharini, the Divine Feminine archetype at the heart of this week’s Sacral Chakra journey.
Her story is traditionally associated with extraordinary austerity. But I don’t believe spiritual growth requires us to punish or deprive our bodies. Ayurveda taught me to see the body as a sacred instrument for realization — something to nourish, protect, and care for.
To me, Brahmacharini represents something much deeper:
the power to release a lower desire by taking up a higher one.
That’s what we’re exploring together this week.
